People Showing No Mercy and No Compassion. In this message, I address the lack of mercy and compassion shown toward so-called “illegals” — especially by those who claim to follow Christ. The Bible is clear:
“You must treat the foreigner living among you as native-born and love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.” – Leviticus 19:34
If God commanded us to love the foreigner, why are we so quick to judge, deport, and divide families? This is a wake-up call to remember the mercy we've received — and to extend it to others.
